Brooklyn-born and Minnesota raised, Alesia now resides in Los Angeles. The goal of her brands as a whole is to disrupt the fashion and entertainment industries; to break barriers and inspire. 

"The media lacks diversity and tends to force-feed this one image to the world that comes across as being the only acceptable way to be. As a Latina and Black woman, it only motivates me even more to change that false, cookie-cutter image and show the world that I belong here too."

Alesia created her clothing line Love Couture LA in 2008. At the time, it had only been a vision - to create t-shirts that represented the dreamer and hopeless romantic in her. And in June 2014, with her own funds, that vision finally came to life. The brand is inspired by the everyday girl and laid-back cool California vibe.  Love Couture LA has grown to be known for its dreamy and cheeky graphic tees, having recently expanded into essentials/basics. The brand captures the essence of its inspiration through playful capsule collections. Being unconventional is key to Alesia, which is why her clothing brand has now grown to be THE GRL (coming soon!). 



In September 2014, she created her blog, Love Her Style, to mesh her love for fashion and design with styled looks. Within 2 years, Alesia was able to grow her following and begin to work with brands - including but not limited to - Burberry, Maybelline, Forever 21, Abercrombie x Fitch, SIX02 (a division of Foot Locker) and Rebecca Minkoff. Being able to create content for major brands sparked a love for photography as she masterfully developed a skill to be able to capture the perfect details in photos as a creative director and stylist.

In August 2016, Alesia launched a custom jewelry line aptly named Love Society LA.

In December 2017, she created her own publishing company, THE GRL Publishing, which released her first poetry book titled love me like the stars on July 5, 2018 (currently available at Barnes & Noble!).
